FAQs

Questions we're asked most

I have no school experience. Can I still apply?

For teaching assistant and SEN TA roles, yes, if you have relevant experience such as care, support work, youth work, nursery or coaching, or a related degree. For teaching roles you need QTS or an equivalent teaching qualification.

How much work can I expect?

It depends on your role, year groups, availability and travel time, and we'll be honest about it on our first call. Long-term roles and regular PPA cover are the most consistent.

How far will I travel?

You set your maximum travel time when you register and we only offer schools inside it.

Can I complete my ECT induction on supply?

Yes, in the right role. Long-term placements of at least a term can count towards induction when the school registers you with an appropriate body. We'll tell you which roles qualify.

Do I pay Bounce anything?

No. Registration and placement are free. Schools pay our fees.
